I made this one at the Fit Expo alongside well-known bodybuilder Kai Greene — and let me tell you, when a man who has built one of the most legendary physiques in the sport takes a bite and nods, you know the recipe is doing something right.
Think deconstructed stuffed cabbage meets dirty rice — minus the rice. Savory ground turkey, caramelized Napa cabbage, mirepoix, tomato paste, a splash of vinegar for brightness, and Superfood Sprinkle bringing the umami, spice, and micronutrient magic.
One pan. 35 minutes. Big, bold, satisfying flavor that actually fuels you.

Method
- 1
Brown the turkey
Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the oil and ground turkey. Break it into small crumbles and cook until nicely browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- 2
Build the flavor base
Add the mirepoix and sauté for another 4–5 minutes, until the vegetables begin to soften. Push everything aside and add the tomato paste directly to the pan. Let it cook for about a minute until it darkens slightly, then stir it into the turkey.
- 3
Get it dirty
Add 2 teaspoons Superfood Sprinkle and the smoked paprika, if using. Stir well so all those spices, mushrooms, black cumin, sesame and nutritional yeast get into every nook and cranny.
- 4
Pile in the cabbage
Add the Napa cabbage — it will look like way too much, but trust the process. Toss everything together, add ¼ cup broth or water, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking until the cabbage is tender but still has a little texture.
- 5
Hit it with acid
Stir in the vinegar and cook uncovered for another 2–3 minutes. Taste and add another splash of vinegar or Superfood Sprinkle if you want more punch.
- 6
Finish and serve
Sprinkle with another little hit of Superfood Sprinkle and fresh herbs. Serve it straight from the skillet.
Mareya's Forking Tip
Don't overcook the Napa cabbage. You want those tender leaves to soak up all the savory turkey and tomato goodness while the thicker white ribs keep a little crunch.
And that splash of vinegar at the end? Don't skip it. It's what wakes the whole dish up and balances the richness.
DIRTY CABBAGE = protein + veggies + big flavor + one pan.
That's my kind of weeknight dinner.
